Default Peg Experiment

In trying to shave some weight of my 00 DS, I'm removing all the rear plastic (including the buckets), relocating the battery box and shock rezzi. My stock pegs, however, need a little help to give me something more to stand on (without the buckets) to guard against the rear tires. Has anyone tried this and if so, how'd it work? Anyone have an old set of stock DS650 pegs lying around? PM me if you do.

Yeah, I think Roostinonyou has modified his stock pegs by making them wider. Looks good too!

Thanks for the encouragement ... I've found someone who's willing to part with their pegs, so I can't wait to get them setup and ready to go. I'm also going to take a file or grinder to them to give it a little more grip.

Later,
