are the stock 04 aluminum a arms that much lighter?

 

I know they are, but by how much I'm not exactly sure. I always felt the DS should have come with aluminum swing arm. Most drag racers don't want it cause it's actually shorter as makes it easier to wheelie.

The alum are much lighter and the after market that I have are very heavy duty. On the drag bike I want to lose all the weight possible, and dont need the safety part.

 

i wonder if bomb made them or if they had them made and could be reproduced?

 

I'll be looking for a full rolling DS chasis to put a street bike motor in. I'm thing of going with the R6 motor, so if you know anybody that has one of them let me know. Looks like ebay is the best place for an engine.

Hey anyone have or know where i can get a 4 over swing arm for an 01 DS...Just put in a TVI 720 big bore kit!! WOW ..The front end wont stay down...
