I have a 2000 DS bone stock and was wondering what I would need to do to get it to run in Little Sahara Utah? I ran a warrior the past two years and could never get the jetting right. Now with the new DS I still want power. We are leaving in March and we are going to Utah and Glamis. I know the elevation at Glamis will be fine with my stock carb, but the higher elevation in Utah will F**K with my jetting! Please help with needle settings and jet sizes! Thanks for any setups!!!!!!!!

I'm going there in June, need to plan on jetting changes too. I ride 500' in Indiana.
According to Dynojet instructions, you need to drop 2 main jet sizes for every 3,000. I think humidity, or lack of it, plays a little roll too. I noticed I run a little leaner at Silver Lake Michigan, which is sea level, than i do in Indiana at 500'.
I plan to drop two main jet sizes for Utah, and change there if need be once I try her out.

Minn, Go get you a K&N jet kit(same as Dynojet). That way you will for sure have the right jet. Then I would check Buttfungus' sight as he has a chart showing what alot of people run. My guess would be for your stock bike would be K&N needle in the third position and a 165 jet(not stock one). Hightower, you already know how to do it so you wont have any probs. LOL
