I need know know--

-Where the key switch wires go
-and why does my relay sit there and click when the starter button is hit...the batt. ..is not dead...the charger is connected.

-where do the wires from the clutch lever go?

I took off the fan, Baja lights, and all this and the wires are giving me fits. Help!

So you took off that stuff w/o writing down where the wires go? Sounds like you need to purchase a maintenance book or cdrom.
As far as your starter just clicking, make sure your battery cables and ground cable have a good connection... it could be the solenoid too. If you know the battery has juice and it still just clicks you're probably gonna have to buy a new starter. I'm looking at the maintenance manual and the starting system troubleshooting guide has "replace electric starter" for most answers

The relay clicks.....not the starter...and I did have every wire junction taped and marked. But became elligible with the grease at hand.

Bettis i bought an automotive fan...i just have to find a mounting procedure. The DS isnt going to be my #1 bike much longer. All my $$ will go to my Blaster for a play bike. So the DS will be put together and ridden slightly time to time. I need to know where the key switch wires run to. Tate is coming over tomr- to be my "Diagram" lol

hey my brothers is doing the same thing and there hasn't been any wire changing. my fan just unpluged isn't that what happened on yours? well if you find the problem let us know, i think it could be a grounding issue. i'll look at my manual tonight and see if all that money was worth it.
