Default next logical mod?

ok i now have a procircuit pipe, K&N filter with outerware, and dyno jetkit. What would be next step in making my baja a bit faster? I here everyone talk about the cdi but is this necessary for the baja? I thought the rev limiter was removed on the baja. I'm looking to get a nice mod for not too much $$$$. One last thing, i curently have the airbox lid on, how much more power would i get with the lid off, is it really noticeable?

(main jet 185
clip on third notch from the top on the needle
screw turned three times to the left)

Get the CDI!!!! that is the most important thing before you continue with anything else. It curves the timing more advanced than the Baja bo and the Baja's limiter is set at 7900 RPM. Change the front sprocket next to a 15. Then you can continue from there, most people go with a carb next. If you put the sprocket on before the CDI you will be hitting the Rev limiter all the time!!!!! And that sucks! Trust me, you can't go wrong with what I am telling you and everyone her will vouch for me.

i agree with them the cdi is great, but it is $267 my brother went to the 15 without the cdi, and he can do nothing but short shift and hope it works out, this is manly for racing though, and he is more of a pilot

Get the direct mount K&N (mounts right on the carb. Ditch the whole air box. 3-4 HP gain easy.

You will need the CDI after this if you don't already.

15/43 gearing (need a new chain for this set-up) or 15/42 gearing (don't need new chain for this set-up.

22X11XX10 - 9 paddle haulers (or Extreme Haulers).

This will get you a very competitive bolt-on quad.

Afther that a high compression piston.
