New ATV Sport mag shootout

Big shootout in the april edition.....DS takes ALL clocked speed races...0-30....20-40...and the usual geeks crying about the size and weight. Predator and Raptor rated good also.
Dirt Wheels has another lame april fools quad, "Mt. Everest", a 1400CC 4x4....also tests the new kawasaki 700 Vtwin automatic.

The Cannibal had some good times in the 0-45 and the 20-40. It's a shame they filed chapter 11. Anyone know if the auction was held yet or what is the latest news. I see John Deere and Bombardier are forming an alliance.

Chapter 11 is bankruptcy that is filed by businesses or corporations. The more politcally correct thing to call it is debt protection. After doing so, creditors can not pursue collection of any debt. A couple things can happen during the filing of Chapter 11. Some places use it as a re-organization tool and stay in their current business. Other cases (as in Cannondale), it is better to auction off the part of the business that is holding you back and pay off the debt and save what you can.
I believe Chapter 13 is what the average "Joe Consumer" files for similar purposes. However, after doing so, it is hard to establish a credit rating again. This stays on your record for 10 years also.

I talked to a Canondale dealer at the boat and sports show last week.He said it is being ought out by a private individual. He is a atv enthusiast. Its going to be official when it is put on the auction block at the end of this month. So..........maybe they will stick around a little longer.
