Anybody have a Lectron for sale?

I know, crazy huh? The carb will complete the stage 3 but I really don't want the 45 after hearing all the horror stories about accelerator pump issues & low end bogs. I ride woods & this is unacceptable for me. I really like the idea of the Lectron and actually like the performance of the stage 3 with stock carb for low end but I think it's time to step up. Anybody have any thoughts on low end power of the Lectron?

I have the lectron on my stage 3 and so far I think it works well. I want to go to the duals but will wait till summertime to do that. Then I may sell my lectron or put it on the wifes bike, not sure.

Hillbilly - I just put on a TM45, its great. I don't even have the accelerator pump activated yet, wanted to see how good I can get it first, and I really like. I ride woods just like you, and there are no low end issues. Since its a flat slide, if you push the throttle as hard and as fast as you can and open all that air flow up at once, you can make it bog, but typical riding practices and throttle response really never suffer as long as I push the throttle, rather than slam it. As soon as I tune the accelreator pump, even that will go away. The pump is just one more circuit to mess with after you tweek the pilot, needle and main. Its really no big deal. And the throttle pull tension is really smoother and easier than the Lectron due to the construciton. The mikuni has like a bushing deal inside to make it very smooth when trying to open against all the air flow pressure, and it really makes a difference. The only real issues with stiff throttles are caused from the piece of crap cable that usually comes with them - it sucks big time. Modify the ball on the end of the stock cable and use it for a much better throttle pull. It truly is one of easiest carbs I've ever messed with to tune. But its twice the money. They're both better than stock, you'll be happier either way.

I think I saw a picture of a modded Busa with 48s on it.

I tend to think that the Lectron is inferior to the Mikuni when it comes to riding a trail bike, and I have only been convinced of that very recently when a friend who has one showed me its issues. Other people who have ran both can agree. Perhaps the Lectron can be better for a drag bike, but at a cost in the trails. I'm not trying to dog on the Lectron, I'm just syaing you get what you pay for, and there are reasons why the Lectron costs $150 less than the Mikuni. I'm sure the only people who have performance issues with either carb are due to maladjustment, both can be set-up to perform beautifully from what I gather, but the construction of the Lectron is very simple, and slide drag caused from the airflow pushing it against the surface it rides on was not thought about in its design.
