hey man what you need to do is go to your local little shops and tell them you want zero sag they will wiegh you and add another 10lbs for your gear the shock spring will cost about 100.oo bucks and labor it depends if you take it off and take it in it will save you on labor charges mine cost me 150.oo bucks to do mine but i took it off myself
(pain in the ...) and it works great i wiegh 283lbs & 6"1" and now it only sags about an
1" but after you will enjoy
hope this helps

You need to add some preload. You should have 4 in. of sag. Pull the back of the DS all the up till it tops out and measure off of the grab bar. Sit on the quad and measure again. You should be 4in. lower when sitting on the guad in you normal riding position.

hey guys I was kinda curious about adjusting the shocks as well. I only weigh 150 and I know that the DS is built for bigger people than me so do I need to adjust any? So like brad650 said, do you just turn the screw on the bottom of the shock?
thanks!

so what we both are wondering is will it fix our sag problem if we just screw the little screw in some on the bottem of the shock or what??

no, that adjustment I believe is the compression adjustment, the preload they are talking about are two collars that are on top of the shock body above the springs(one collar locks the other in place). loosen the top collar and tighten the lower collar to compress the spring to achieve the desired sag 3-4 inches.
