[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img] After last weekend ride My DS was makineg a very bad sounds. I found out that the cam chain tensisionor was stuck closed. I got the head off today and I can see no damage. I am still going to have Sam Coe look at it too make sure none of the valves are bent. I have to get a new shim for my right side intake. I was measuring it and it slip out of my fingers and bounced off my foot too some place under my work bench [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

Default Off with the head

all I need is 4 new head nuts at $3.00 each. Glamisds650 found them cheaper but the best I could due was $2.30 each but I had to buy 100.

hey Bill, believe it or not the stock nuts are not grade 8. they are standard run of the mill nuts. I guess that is so you dont ruin the studs.
