Default I need help please!!!!!!

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] hey i was wondering why my lite wont come on unless i pull the clutch in is somthing not connected?

Sounds like your switchgear might be knackered.

Did you roll it?
There is a switch that keep the starter from engaging when it's in gear and the clutch is out.
Could be cross wired in the harness.

Actually it sounds more like you have something hooked up wrong. When did it work correctly. And what have you done since. Start there. And check to make sure that you did evry thing corectly at that point.

sounds like your thingamajiger is tied into the wrong doohickey with an oversized tire fuse link![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

If it worked before, and no changes were made then I would look at a ground problem. If the light has lost it's ground circuit from a bad connection it could be pulling ground through the clutch switch circuit.

Default I need help please!!!!!!

I have an 03 with the same problem or shall i say did have the same problem , it was the resister in the light came disconnected from the contact . if you take the light out and take it apart you will see the L.E.D. connected to the resistor i had to resolder mine and the bikes only 2mo old.
