Default another K&N question

Last week I put a new filter (in airbox) on my bike with a outerwear. It starts and runs fine but at mid throttle it really bogs like it is starving for fuel. Is this just a mixture screw adjustment or do I need to rejet. Also In the next day or so I should be putting on a Big Gun silencer. Will I need to make any adjustments for this. Thanks for the help.

this is usaully a sign that it is running to rich, when you put the pipe on it will lean way out.

I would think that the less restrictive K&N filter would be prone to lean out the system, even with stock exhaust. It will, of course, get much worse when the aftermarket pipe is added.
I am curious about this, as I have an airbox mount K&N ordered. Nothing else for now. Will I need to rejet? Seems to run a bit fat right now. Time will tell.
Thanks

when i first installed my rwr pipe and cdi i never rejeted? ran strong with stock carb /airbox with k/n. run it and do a plug check, you want a tannish color on the center, if it's lighter or no color (after warmed all the way up and run at constant rpm's) then you might have to jet up. a bog can be caused by both a lean or fat condition.
