I emailed Bombardier about when the 2004 DS650 will be out and they said midsummer. It is going to be 2 inches narrower and shorter and 20 lbs. lighter.

Sounds pretty good. Could make it handle much differently, especially in the trails. Cant wait to ride one!!!!

The lighter side sounds better good but the shorter and narrower. I talked to fellow at Bombardier that helped design the "old version" ds and they needed to do something that would catch the market like the raptor did. My 2002 BAJA , in my opinion, is already balance perfect. Not a wheelie bopping bad hill climber. But if you want to wheelie it it sure will!!! I ride in North western PA with alot of hills and tight trails. Haven't had to turn back yet!! For me anyway I'll keep the longer, wider and Caddy like ride of the 2002.
