Bear Claws on Quest 650 XT?
I have just ordered 27-12-12 and 26-10-12 Kenda Bear Claws for my quad and am now wondering if they will fit without spacers and lift kit. Does any one have experience with this or similar wheel kits? My back yard is starting to turn to goo and I want to try them out as soon as possible.

I hate to reply and not have an answer to your questions, but I have a nagging problem with 2 Quest 650 XT's that are only 3 weeks old. Both machine are very difficult, and sometimes impossible to shift in and out of park and through the gears.
Have you had any problems like this with your machines?
I appreaciate any advise you have I am quite the newby.
Thanks

The bear claws are now on and fit with only 1/4" spacers on the rear left wheel. the tread on the back is awesome about 1' with full side lugs. the front are less aggresive but are much superior the the original tires. note: the 27x12x12-26x9x12 appear to be the same circumference as the original, the speedo is still the same .I checked before and after with my GPS. I also put a K&N fliter and a dyno jet kit, it goes like hell but it backfires after I hammer it. Any one else fiigure out the backfire fix?

My dealer finally figured out the backfiring problem. We tried re-jetting and adjusting the carb but that never fixed it. They finally talked to the Bomb reps and came up with a solution. They opened up the carb and cut one of the springs to make it shorter. I'm not shure which spring it was but it defenitly helped. It will still backfire if I ride it hard, stop fast, and shut it off, but it doesn't ever back fire when I'm riding down the trail anymore. If you want I can give you my dealers phone # and you can ask them which spring to cut. Maybe your dealer already knows.
