would the CDI make the difference between winning or losing?

the cdi will make a good difference in drag racing against a predator. Everytime you hit the rev limiter you lose a half a bike lenght easy. The predator accelerate quick and is geared low with 14/38 gearing so it is quick out of the hole. The rev limiter will let you launch harder and pull harder with the new timing curve. Mine made a huge difference racing predators.

 

The Ds hits the rev limiter way to easy. With a CDI with a high limiter you can get a lot more power out of each gear and increase you top speed. I think it is well worth the price.

 

What is the best buy for cdi box?

 

I have a ron woods cdi. I like mines a lot. I hear that vortex have one but have noinfo on it. The woods pick my accelleration times up pretty good.

Some people have said U can buy a CDI from a BMW 650F and easily interchange it. It will work fine and have a higher rev limit???
