Default best buy???

for under 500$$ what would be the best modification 4 my stock 2003 ds650 ???? i ride in the woods and do hillclimbs .

gearing would be a great change. less than a $100 leaving 400 to play with (cdi and carb mount filter)

by gearing you mean sprockets? what size..?

goto rockymountainatv.com and look around....I would suggest getting larger tires...23in fronts and 22in rears--pure sports bandits, ITP holeshots, maxxis razors, etc....also a swing-arm skid plate (pro armor is my choice) would be a good investiment for rough terrain. Keep a little money for emergency funds just in case....bbbrrrraaaaaap! Front sprocket change if you decide to go with larger tires to compensate for low end loss...a 15T or 14T...stock gearing is 16T front 40T rear....

i think i need more bottom end power,but i still want my top speed or faster, what size gearing shod i go with?? first through third feal slow 2 me (hard 2 do wheeles)

try tightening the springs on the suspension

For five hundred go with the 15 tooth front sprocket, CDI, Slip-on exhaust and Dyno-jet kit!! You might be able to squeeze in a direct mount K&N filter also. And I gurantee you will get your wheelie monster!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Also when you get the chance go with the TM 45mm Carb!
