Any of you guys run with the V-Force 700?
I got the green light to get one of those green V-Force machines and was wondering what you guys think about them?I test rode one in the dealers parking lot and It seemed very quick off the line but makes a funny sound when backing off the throttle.I guess its the belt. They do look realy cool, but I am wondering how they will stack up against my DS.What do you think?

Igot the chance to ride with three of them yesterday. They are lightning quick off the line and an excelent trail machine. They will wheelie with the best of them. The guys would bring the front end up right off the line and could hold the front end where ever they wanted. They would let them start to come down and when the front tires where abought a foot and a half off the ground goos it and bring them right back up. We never had the chance to drag race because there was no flat ground more than 50 feet long anywhere. The impresion my freind who rides a raptor, and i got was that they would get the hole shot for shure and then if the race was long enough we could probobly reel them back in. Like I said that is just the impresion we got from the few straight aways we did hit. If the noise you heard was a high pitched whining noise on deceleration, it is the belt.

99500Scrambler ....
You described it well. It is very quick on the bottom end..... I can take the lead on Rappy's or Pred's .... but they can reel me back in on the top end ( over 60mph I would guess ?)
I am a trail rider ... so almost all of my time is spent at less than 60 mph ..... perfect trail machine
Summary: .... you better have it pointed in the right direction before you pull the trigger !!!

I don't wanna dis on the new quad but on long steep hills it was sad. ( a totally stock baja took it by at least 20 lengths- they both had geckos on) On the trails it is a great performer and on asphault it picks the front end up easily but it is lacking in the top end department. I've only ridden with one and thats what I saw. Hopefully there's more power bottled up in it somewhere.

i raced a couple at comp hill in florence, and it stayed with my ds for 20 feet, after that i got to the top and turned around to see where it finished. my wifes piped and geared ds took it also. it did take our friend raptor, and i thinkm it and the predator was real close. they are a neat machine but a lot less suspension than the ds.
