Sam Coe's 720 kit, Anyone?

Has Sam Coe rectified all it's problems with this kit? If so I might take the plung in May or June and add to that some head porting for now. Angry how does it run now?

TONY- have you raced any Sparks 690 Raptors yet. A few people I ride with are saying that when I get my 720 back it still won't beat a Sparks-690. Please tell me that is not the true.

You probably wont beat a Spart 690 Raptor when it has had all required safty equipment removed (little things - like brakes!) as well as the starter etc. Then to top it off they'll have a 10 or 12 year old 60 lb kid pilot it up the hill. Funny thing - I think it was a commercial I saw just this morning published by the AAA saying that children weighing up to 80 lbs should be in a car booster seat while in a car. I'm certain most people would think a child who is supposed to be in a booster seat certainly doesn't need to be piloting an Adult ATV up competition hill - anywhere.

Good one chris!! I don't know Big B about the Sparks 690's. Just like Blackhawk said, the Sparks bike's were only immprssive because they strip them done to the skeleton including the rider!! I have only ran against 2 big bore Raptors so far a 727 and a 720 and with me on my quad I ran exactly dead even with both of them. People have to remember, Pound for pound the Raptor will probably win. But when my bike and myself have about 180 to 200 lbs. more weight than the Raptor I am running, I say I am holding my own! I think Sam finally has all the bugs figured out now and I think it will be a pretty good kit. It definatley needed to be O-Ringed though.
And for the question earlier the Tri-metal gasket is really not a good choice, especially if you are running an O-Ring. Stainless steel O-rings are meant to be ran with Copper gaskets, not solid Tri-metal gaskets.

Yes let's hope bugs work out. I'm not getting it stroked, just bigger bore. I'm sure the stroking would provide more HP.. but bigger bore is good for me. As soon as I finish my Son's T-Rex I'm going to splurge a bit on my DS.
