Default Closest rideable sand dunes from New England.

Hey, I live in Atlantic Canada, and there are no sand dunes around here(not that i know of anyway) that are rideable. So what are the closest dunes to the Maine area. Since I live only 3-4 hours from the Canada/Maine border.

Thanks in advance

Silver Lake, MI. About 14hrs for me from central MA so I would guess at least 14-18 for you, maybe more.

Yeah, silver lake is probably the closest for you, unless there are some in canada that we dont know about.

Then probably st. anthony idaho would be the next closest.

Silver Lake is very nice. If you have never been there it is worth the trip. Lots of things to do beside just sand. It is very busy in the summer time so if you plan a weekend trip, go Friday to get your voucher to get in on Saturday, Then Saturday you need to get your voucher for /Sunday. If you don't you will wait in line for hours just to get in. And once you get in, you don't leave unless you are totally done riding.

It is a very popular place for people from Northwestern Ohio, Eastern Indiana and a ton of people from Michigan go. The busiest time is Labor Day Weekend. Tons of people go and it is lots of fun. It is the last big hooray before people leave and go back to school.
