Default 03 CDI

Bought an 03 DS. I want to swap some parts from the Pig to this one, especially the RWR CDI.

It won't fit.

Do I need to get a new one or is there a way to get that one to work.

Not sure Al, but if it is like the one on the baja, you can pull the pins out of the connectors and plug them in and wrap with heat shrink and tape and be good to go.

I dont know if it changed in 03 though.

Ron Wood might be able to tell you.

Congrats on the new machine, and hope the pig is up and running again soon.

Az, I haven't pulled it apart yet.

I'm in no hurry now that I have something else to ride.

Bat the connectors don't even fit together. It's like they are the same size so one doesn't fit inside the other.

Also there is another connector on this CDI.
