DuneDevil, I think the problem with alot of people is that they NEED a "sand fix"(I know thats my problem)[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] After Snake unt, and the months to come Atleast the stories being told will be CURRENT and not war stories from FSW. I just hope I can wear myself out , at the dunes, and not have near as much energy/frustration to take out on everyone here[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

well about dirtwheels, as many of you know i got my son the 400ex, and since the suzuki came out all the magazine have to say about the honda is negative, well as bad as it may sound i had him read all the 400 articles, well after his first weekend on the quad he comes up at the end and goes dad those magazine don't know what there talking about (he will be 10) so i tell him now you know what it is like for us ds guys. sorry a little off the topic but that dirtwheels thing gets to me more than the negative threads. i feel they stand in the way of the aftermarket getting all over the ds.

dont worrie guys!!!!!! I will drop the hammer on some raptors for ALL of ya's this weekend at dumont, and then i will submit some videos on the forum that you can refferance to !!!! will that help? whrdskin has some good footage, but he is cool cat that owns a raptor...i would have to ask him to put some dream shattering videos out for the record. he seems to have the best videos so far!

 

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, my Bro-Inlaw is one of the Evil-doing raptor owners. It definately keeps things interesting in our conversations.

However, I would like to also add, that the non-constructive slams that you see between raptor and ds owners are pointless, and a waste of HD space on the server. I mean come on, when a ds owner posts a message for help and a raptor posts something like "get a raptor, problem solved", that's just plain rude. In fact, I think I will ad a tag line to my signature, that says something like, "things could be worse, I could own a raptor [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]", but then again, I would just be stooping to their level. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] LOL - so scratch that....

All joking aside, it's all good when it's in fun, but pissing on a specific user that you don't know personally in a semi-anonomous public forum is counter productive. Not only does it make the "pisser" look like a moron, it alienates the "pissee" from anyone else and could push them away from the forum.

Just something to keep in mind.
