top end cut out???

hello, i have alba exhaust system, uni clamp on filter, and a 180 main jet. i took it out for a little ride today, i had it wound out and it was almost to the rev limeter and it just cut out and almost stalled, i pulled in the clutch and it resumed to a normal idle, and i went home. so what do i need to do to solve this problem???

Brad, I also live in the UP of Michigan. I had my 03' Baja (w/stock jetting) wound out before in 5th and it died on me one time. It was only about 30 something degrees when it did it. From what I read on here colder weather can make your bike run more lean and I think thats why mine did it. Now that the temperatures are warmer I can run it full throttle in 5th no problem.

some have experianced this cut out due to lack of sufficient air flow into the fuel tank - check your breather line to be sure it's not pinched or better yet get a vented gas cap. Next time you ride and it happens - crack the fuel cap open and if that solves the issue you'll know what to do.

allright, its probily my gas breather cause it was doing it before, my line is all old and crusty looking haha so ill look at it again and put a new peice on. although it was sitting because there was too much snow to ride... thanks for the help guys
