Default Flame thrower?

it how josh said but with another coil like crazy said. it wouldnt work with a single cylinder. a relay stops the spark to one or more plugs on a 6 or 8 cy, and routes the spark to a plug into the exauhst. the unburned fuel then goes through the exauhst and on the way out lights on the plug about 6 inch away from the end. i saw the whole thing on tv

I bought an ignition coil, a spark plug, a bunch of wiring, a plug wire, and a throggle button. All i want to know is how in the world you make the plug spark with all this crap. I'm so lost, Bajad5 said he knows how to make flames come out of his exhaust without doing all that hard crap. How'd u get yours working? anyone

Default Flame thrower?

Ilooked heavily into this last year as I was going to do it for DS Days. Basically what i had desighned was a seperate sparkplug setup (ie:coil, plug, wire) then I was going to get a windheild washer pump and run the same kind of fuel line and a nozzle from a NOS kit to atomise the fuel and inject it into the very end of the pipe just infront of where the plug was going to be. The way i had it desighned it would have been easily removable and only on the quad when i planned on flamming. The thing is dont hit it unless your moving or your in big trouble.

okay, not sure if this would work, but it's an idea. what if you got a small propane bottle, like they use for a lantern, and somehow put a valve on it to where it only opens if you push a button. then connect a long rod only about 1/8in ID and about 2ft long to the bottle. drill tiny pinholes every inch or so on the rod, and a larger hole at the tip. make a hole in the exhaust pipe, and slide the rod in, so it goes to the back of the exhaust and stays along the inner wall. Ok, I'm not sure if this made any sense, but sometimes my Raptor shoots flames out the back, so I'm pretty sure a flame reaches 2ft from the exhaust tip. Now when you open the valve for the propane tank, the propane SHOULD catch fire, and carry the flame along the rod until it reaches the final hole, at the tip, where the flame would shoot out the back. Does anyone know what I'm talkin bout, or if it would work?
