if you are "kinda cramped on it" don't spent ALL that money it. with the bomb you can always GROW, and still be comfortable. as for my one year old baja, i rode it ALL summer long in the hot mojve desert. no heating problem. i am the same size as you, except a few extra lbs. < 25. the only issue that i just found is the roller bearing? and i do need to add some break fluid next year. great product.

Polaris336, I am a newbie of sorts to quading, and I might just be the biggest member of this forum. I go 6'10" - 305lbs. I love my DS and think that it is probably my only choice when it comes to a sport quad. That being said, even if I wasn't a freak, I'd still turn to the DS. I just feels like quality. A-arms and axles are already oversized and the suspension is 2nd to NO OTHER STOCK QUAD. The MOTOR is a PROVEN MONSTER! I ride with my light on all the time (as a visability enhancer), and I've yet to had a problem. Maybe the O3's are different in some unknown respect. The later machines do have some differences and a REAL GOOD overall package. I love my 03.
As big as I am, I still beat piped and jetted Raptors. Maybe I'm just lucky! Try stapping 100+ lbs on some of the other quads and see how they do. The DS is the way to go. I would rather worry about 45 or so extra pounds than worry about my TRANNY, tippy feel, and pulling the front wheel up too easy. Trust me, except for being in the woods, the wheelie thing becomes quickley over-rated. I like the fact that I have more control over the front end when under a good load.
Good luck making your choice.

Not every quad will have the same problems. What was happening to your friends DS doesn't mean it will to yours. You answered your own question, you feel more comfortable on the DS. Get the Baja, they are great quads. jmo

I answered before I read all the posts, I didn't want to be swayed. JFYI I'm 6' 250lbs and I don't feel cramped on my Raptors at all. There's only 1 quad I'd buy other than a Raptor and thats a Baja. Well, maybe a Banshee, possibly a Predator but not as likley.
