Well once again I find myself in a dilemma! I am not sure if I want to go with the new 48mm Mikuni or the twin FCR 39's. I think the twins would probably be better but I hear you can't run them with a thumb throttle very easily. And I can't stand twist throttles[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img] How big a job is it to put those 39's in and is anyone running them with a Thumb throttle? I would really like to figure this out soon so any help would be appreciated.

 

You should PM BIGHEAD CEREALS, he has a after-market thumb-throttle that is billet, and gives a MUCH easier pull for his Lectron, so it may be the ticket for the duals.

Hey Bigger It seems I can't get thru to this guy it says either he doesn't exist or he doesn't accept pm's

 

Also, check on the 48mm lectron, I think that is the carb DuneDevil, and THE BOM are using, and thier quads ran GREAT. The Lectrons are so much smaller, and make for a nice fit on the bomb. I know that just about everyone else uses the 39 FCR's and also have good luck with them.
