Default Question for MBRP pipe owners?

I just bought a MBRP full race system for my DS and I have heard that there might be a problem with the muffler hitting the brake caliper when the suspension is bottomed out. I was just wondering if anyone has had this problem (besides AZSAND). I really am looking foward to the new system and this might put a bit of a wrench into my plans. As anyone that has ridden with me knows I like to air it out quite a bit and would hate to find out the hard way by destroying my new pipe. Thanks

Default Question for MBRP pipe owners?

Ive bottomed my quad out to the point of the Heel Guards hitting the ground and have never had an issue with the pipe. I guess you could tighten your spring or have TCS do an upgrade if your bottoming out that bad.

Default Question for MBRP pipe owners?

I don't have the pipe yet and I have never hit the White Bro's slip on that I had but I was just wondering if there was anyone else out there that had heard of that problem. If you have had no problems with the pipe and have hit your heal guards on the ground I think that I will be fine. I might tighten the spring a little more and try to space the pipe out a bit just to be safe.

i don't see how it could hit the brake caliper? my mbrp is a good fit except the spring pirch hits just above the swing arm pivot, but just a very small amount nothing to wine about.

Default Question for MBRP pipe owners?

I an thinking that there won't be a problem with the clearance issue I was just looking for some opinions.

JEFFROE I have looked at your pics and it looks like there is a lot of clearance. Oh and buy the way NICE DS.....

Thanks guys that makes me feel a lot better.

dsracer666: my white bros never hit anything and I have landed from some really big jumps. Have you tightened up the rear spring? That might help it did the trick for me.
