You people are lucky that your dealers even give you the time of day with your DS650 problems. Are you being charged for this carb work or is it covered under warranty? No dealers near me will acknowlegde any carburetor updates/recalls.

Scooby-- I am not getting charged he is trying to make the bike as good as it can be without voiding the warranty. I live in a small community and an area where people try to help others out. The person who works on my DS is the owner of the service center. He wants to learn from me what to do to make the quad better. If I get mine tuned right, the next one he gets in he will be able to tune it correctly out of the box for our conditions. I read almost every post in these forums from trash to tech. I listen and relay the messages to him to help him out as well. When I bought my DS, they said if I have anything wrong with it, the warranty would cover it for 6 months (except abuse of course). My service man went as far as taking time out of his day to call a person who raced professionally for jetting and tuning advice. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
