For 2002 the DS650 weighs 460 lbs Dry.
For 2003 the DS650 weighs 490 lbs Dry.
For 2004 the DS650 weighs 470 lbs Dry.

I like the drop of 20 pounds. But why the gain of 30 pounds?
I didn't think they changed anything on the standard DS650.

Man, i was wondering the same thing...why is mine supposed to weigh 460 when the newer one weigh 490....?

Was this a undergenerous dry weight estimate..or did something change???

I was trying to fiqure out that for months now. All I could fiqure was that they under estimated the weight in the early years or they were doing on purpose.

2002 buyer's guide by dirtwheels. 2002 Baja DS650 505 pounds wet with 1 gal. of fuel. 30 pounds over dry weight.

March 2002 ALL-TERRAIN vehicle. 2002 DS650 507.5 pounds wet full of fuel. Since the 2002 DS650 is 460 Dry. 47.5 pounds in fluids. that is possible.

Does anyone have a mag that says the wet weight of a 2003 DS650?

up to 2003 DS650's 507.5 ready to ride.
2004 DS650 487.5 ready to ride.
It's 20 pounds lighter then it was.
so the 490 pounds dry is wrong and the 470 pounds dry for the 2004 is wrong.

487.5 pounds wet vs a Raptors 442 wet.

With the extra tuffness of the DS650. It will be worth the weight.
