Who here has split the cases? Anything special to watch for???

 

be sure that you have the magnito side facing down when you open it or everything will fall apart. ( build an appropriate support under the case to support it) Also remember to remove the plastic gear on the clutch side so you can actually saparate the cases with out damaging them. also take note of the order the washer and spacers are in around the starter gears- the manual doesn't have a good pic and if you misplace them the gears will bind up.
