when do guys think the 04 DS's will arrive at the Dealership's? i live in mn, so im unsure, u guys with the baja what were u paying on average for ur DS's. i cant get the wheeler till at least june or july, do u think i will be able to get a 03 or will i have to wait to get a 04...
the Bomber website says 7100. so im geussing around 7500 otd. and again are any of u Baja owners having any problems with urs?
a new ATV mag tested the lighter 04 DS and said it basically sucks and to save ur money to get a better quad?? i dont know what would make em say that.....
i have almost made up my mind on my new wheeler and i think i am gonna go with the Baja DS, and i paln on racing it a few times this season in the District #23 Races. i went to a race last weekend and it was soooo cool. seen a cannondale cannibal, and that thing hauls *** as well as the Predator.
what made me choose the DS is all the Accessorys they have on em stock, (shocks, axle, wider, etc)
the other racers this weekend who had better shocks wider etc were doin better than the people with stock chassis but built up motor and the DS has both sorry 4 ff topic Thanks again guys. this forum has been REALLYY helpful for me. I would wait for the 04, and you should be able to get a 04 for < $7000 otd. Depending on availability.
And about the ATV Mags.
1- they have their own agenda (this has been discussed in many threads before) It's all about what bikes do the after marker fabricators make the parts for. If they recommend a bike that their advertisers don't and won't make stuff for, then the advertiser will get pissed and could pull their ad. It's not about informing the consumer, it's about selling ads. Always has been and always will be.
2- It seems their average rider is only about 5'5' and 115 lbs.

Hey pudjumper same with my 03', but its just the breaks on mine. Squeeze the brake lever alittle and it goes away, cant really notice it when im riding hard.

The noise is created by the brake pads dragging on the rotor and creating a high frequency vibration (squeek). If you ride in mud you should take the calipers off every so often and rinse eveything off with water, remove the pads and make sure there is no debris between them and the caliper body.
