Chris,
My son is 8 and I got him the 90cc from Raceway for Christmas. He is about 65 pounds and it seems like a good fit for him. It has plenty of power and seems to be a pretty good buy for the price of it. Since this was his first atv I thought a 110 might be too much for him. Good luck with it and get home safe.

marc--
is the 90cc you got him the mini or the regular sized one? if its the regular sized 90cc--doesnt it have the frame as the 110cc? im not worried about too much power as i will limit her speed. i want something she wont grow out of anytime soon. thanks for the reply.

Chris,
I got the mini, but I have other little ones coming up behind him. I'm not positive the thing will be around that long, but we'll see. I want to say that 2manytoys has a pic of his son on a 110, but I'm not positive, you might want to look at this pics maybe that can give you some perspective on the size.
Best of Luck

Yes that is my son on a Yamoto type 110. I can tell you that the Kazuma falcon 110 is too tall. That was the first one he had. The Yamoto or Redcat 110 is alot better fit. I would highly recommend the Desert Cat 90cc. That is a great little quad.

I have two daughters, a 6 year old and a soon to be 9 year old. Both are small in the 4 feet, 45 lbs range. Last Easter we bought a Redcat 50 for them to share. It was already too small for my older girl but I thought it would be a good starter. Within about a month we bought a Redcat SFX 110 and it has been great. It is slightly large but it gives her some growing room. The six year old has aready outgrown the 50 and we just bought a mini 90 which looks like a good fit.
Our 110 has been problem free. It is a three speed but at first I just put it in second and away she went. You can govern the speed down as needed. Hope this helps.
