Default Need Help

I have a Meercat 50 that blows a fuse eveytime I attach the positive to the battery. I checked the wires and there
dosen't appear to be a short that I can find. Any suggestions on how to go about fixing this problem. Thanks.

what i'd do would be remove all plastic (body parts) then unplugg all electrical connectors, install fuse if it still blows then you know it's in the wiring harness, if it doesn't then start plugging in one connector at a time, if you find its the wiring harness you can remove it from the atv and get an ohm meter and check each and every wire.

I have seen this problem before and it was a defected battery regulator. This regulator is under the front R/S fender area. I believe it connects to the same bolt that holds the right side bottom of the gas tank. It is a little box with fin type lines through out. 99.9% sure this is your problem.

easy to check the battery regulator before ording a new one , just unplug the connector to it, then install the new fuse and see it it still blows

Just swapped out a regulator from my other ATV to the 50 and that solve the problem...no more blown fuse. Ordered a new regulator from Raceway. Thanks for your help.
