just got a new silinoid today and put it on on to my frustration the same thing happened, the siliniod makes a shorting noise and nothing, whats up?and the battery has went dead twice in two weeks is this part of the problem, or a bi-product to the problem? also when i turn the alarm on it will go off when you try to turn on the head lights. sound like an electrical problem? mechanical? i think electrical, but the weird thing is that is worked fine when it was parked went back 2 or 3 days later nothing, charged the battery and thats when i got the shorting sound from the siliniod.i guess i got to take the plastic off and start looking for bad connections, this bites this thing is only 1 month old!

 

Try un pluggin the remote box and see what happens then.

 

buy the remote box you mean?the box under the seat on the left side, or the box under the right front fender?

 

Its under the seat i think where the speaker is there is the remote box and un plug that and see what that does.

it was the battery, i hooked up some jumper cables and the thing started right up!!!!! getting ready to pick the battery up from the garage with a brand new hot charge!!! hope this is the end of problem for a while!!

 

If you have any problems with the battery let me know and ill get you another one.
