Damn it all. I was told my ATV had shipped from Jetmoto, CA this monday/tuesday and havn't recieved any tracking information on it. The nice people at Raceway told me I should expect the tracking info on Wedsday, then on Friday or Monday. I called up Jetmoto, CA today, and they are saying that they won't be shipping any units until next week, so It looks like it's going to be another week of hoping it gets here. The way it's looking now, I might get it as late as the 25th.

This info might be incorrect, but the dude at Jetmoto seemed to know what he was talking about (Joe I think), which means 4 weeks to ship out something that was suppose to take 2-3. I understand that Jetmoto is at the mercy of US Customs, shipping and other companies/personel, but there has to be a better way of providing information to thier dealers. Raceway couldn't even really tell me anything other than call back monday if we don't email you. They did tell me on Monday that the quads WERE recieved on Friday the 4th, and should have shipped this past Monday/Tuesday.

This isn't a flame mind you, I'm just expressing disapointment and hoping that after they get caught up with all the backorders, maybe they will have the time to address the issues thier customers are having with parts breaking prematurely, and recieving prompt tracking information on packages.

This wouldn't even matter so much, but I manage/operate 5 family businesses in 3 cities, and making time to be sure I'm here to recieve the quads requires more than 24 hours notice. I also admit, I'm a little tired of watching the great videos you guys have put out, and interested in jumping on my own Jetmoto!

I guess as long as I get my quad before Ahmadinejad has nuclear weapons, I'll be happy. Might not be able to ride an ATV after the apocalypse. </politics>

Sorry to hear that pimpsmurf, I was hoping for feedback on what you thought of your JM. I just recieved my 14 tooth sprocket after 3 weeks waiting. So far with the 15tooth i have climbed all the local sandhills, you just have to have some speed up before you hit em. I have also been jumping it again and the shocks are holding up just fine. I think the shock that broke must have been defective, not poor quality. We have been putting it through the paces, but still would like some more power. The carb is a 30mm and it has a cone style air filter, if that helps any. I posted a couple of new action pics in my bio also.

Beautiful pictures man! The terrain just looks killer. Best I'm going to pull off is some trail riding. Hopefully I can get my dad to ride with me to Little Sahara in SC. It's suppose to have a lot of sand with pits, hills, and rollers for easy jumps. Should be fun. Man I can't wait to get my JM250, but looking at it compared to the blaster, the blaster is a whole lot wider. Maybe 2" extensions would be a good idea after all. Definately getting smaller wheels. =)

Pimpsmurf, I put 2 1/2"wheel spacers on the blaster after riding the JM. The JM was much wider and more stable than the blaster stock. I put the wheel spacers on the front and back of the blaster. I also put the 2" spacers from john on the back of the JM and the rear end is still wider than the blaster. I didn't think the JM really needed them on the front, but it looks pretty mean from the rear. Also while installing the sprocket on the JM I took the cover off the blasters front sprocket and the shaft and sprocket look the same. Tomorrow i will make sure they will interchange and post back.

Yeah, dealing with customs can be a pain (putting it mildly). Like I said, It wasn't meant to be a flame. I understand you guys are all in a tough spot, but a wise man once said, "If you don't know, say you don't know. Don't tell someone what you think." I just hope everyone can get it figured out.

As far as wanting them worse then me, that isn't possible. I'm a little OC when I get into something, and I'm running out of youtube ATV videos to watch. HAHA

Hopefully we will know something monday.

Dccarr: Yeah, I think i remember reading that somewhere. I think I'm definately doing 2" spacers on the front and rear now. That blaster looks mean! With the smaller wheels in the rear, and spacers it is really going to look rad.

EDIT: I spoke with John today, and true to his reputation, he took care of me. Apparently the 3-5 days customs normally takes has become 2-3 weeks with the last couple shipments. Anyway, the shipment should be clearing customs today or tomorrow and he said I will have tracking the same day it ships. Maybe I will even have it by next weekend, which would be awsome. If I get it Thursday, I can turn our "Family Night" into ATV night. =)

Thanks again for all the help John. You guys are truely a pleasure to do business with. I wish all my vendors could be as understanding of my time constraints.

As always, fantastic work on the video man. That is the coolest place I've seen to ride yet! I hope Those 150s look like a blast too. Man I wish I had something like that when I was that age. The kids look they are having a ball.

Anyway, with the adjusters on the shocks all the way in (high preload), do you think they are still too soft?

Also, anyone have any input on the stock rims or the upgrade rim quality? The alluminum rims are 1/2 the cost of the nearest competitor, and I'm wondering if they are thin, or if they will hold up to light impacts (sticks and such on trails.)

Thanks!

It was a fun place but majorly dusty, My wife still can't ride after her crash on her 150 so it was just the two youngest and myself, so it was pretty mellow riding.
