Default bashan 200 problem plz help

I have a bashan 200 I've fitted a new rear axle and all was fine took it for a ride but on the way back started being a bit juddery in first gear when accelerating. Now with the back wheels of the floor and engine ticking over in gear it's juddery if you pull clutch in it stops but soon as you let go of clutch its really juddery again but I'm having a really hard time finding where its comming from. I've checked rear axle. Transfer box and all seems ok transfer box is a little bit clicky. This problem only occurs when the rear axle is connected when it's off all is fine. Any advice would be very much appreciated tia

does it only happen in first gear? Some possible causes, axle to tight, chain to tight, bad bearing, axle slightly twisted causing the chain to slightly skip, worn chain or connected parts, rear chain gear wrong pitch if it came with your new axle?

Bad bearings would put that shaft off balance. For stuck bolts, I use Kroil and let it soak overnight. If that doesn't do it, then you'll need to heat to help break it loose.

Find a service manual online to give you the parts breakdown.

Cheers for the replies, im hoping the seller is going to replace it as ive only just bought and fitted it, ive had a stethoscope on it today and the loudest metal on metal banging noise seems to be coming from the rear drum brake housing

Are you sure you do not have rear drum out of adjustment? Sounds like its slightly to tight.

Oh wait. You have a clutch, did you check the clutch condition? Oil or grease on the clutch plate can cause this condition. If it's a wet clutch, you may want to replace it.
