Was going through it after sitting in the garage for a few years. Cleaned carb , new gas and oil(drained out both and replaced new), new battery, was running great but leaking gas through drain on bottom of carb. So after pulling the carb on and off 3 times to set the float correctly , went for a quick ride and was running great but then died while driving it and wont restart. Gas flowing if I take off gas line at carb and at bottom of carb through drain screw. Also has spark per puling plug and grounding it on frame. Not even trying to start, what am I missing?

 

Think I'd break out the compression tester. Similar engine on the Eton,Aeon and Polaris 90 two strokes.Polaris shows a minimum of 115psi.

 

Could also be some old varnish that was caked in the can from the oil fuel and got sucked into the carb blocking fuel to the jet
