Default Northstar wiring issue and other questions

I have a Northstar Chinese ATV that I got on a trade. It would crank and run but only with a stream of carburetor cleaner going in it. (carb gummed up)

So I ordered a new carburator for it and I install it, put some gas in it and try to crank it but It does nothing. The headlights work, the N lights up but when the starter button is pressed it does nothing. I tested the continuity of the button and there's continuity when its pressed.

So I go find the starter solenoid and I jump the solenoid (did this for years on a lawnmower back in the day) and all I get is crackling at the battery connectors. It sounds like a direct short to ground.

So I am deciding to weather I should attempt to fix this crap or just rewire it like its supposed to be?

I cannot find a readable wiring diagram anywhere.
If I do decide to rewire it, I am going to need some help on charging and starter wiring, and as well wiring for the coil.

I found out the culprit. It was the starter Solenoid.

I ended up rewiring it for a three post solenoid off of a troy built lawnmower.

Here are some pictures:

This was my quad in the testing state:

I had this one lying around. Just had to take it off the junk mower it was on.

But you're right If I had to buy a solenoid, It would be a one that fits a 80s model ford F100 with the 4.9 300 L6. Best solenoid out there.
