I am in need of some help with a Kandi 250, water cooled 4 wheeler. Trying to get it going for my boss, the bike has very few hours on it, like less than 50, but when he replaced the battery, the wires going to the brake light were pinched, causing a short. I have repaired the harness but can get no spark. Not sure if I have something wrong or an issue with the cdi. I have not been able to find a schematic that resembles this bike. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

 

Checked all the inline fuses?

 

Yes, fuses good, everything works just no spark. Coil tests good, I'm thinking either I have an issue with the wiring to the cdi box, or the cdi itself is bad. I found a box on Amazon pretty cheap so I'm going to replace it, but I just have a bad feeling that's not going to fix it.
