QIYE Coolster 125: hard to start, runs rough, won't idle. Some testing run.Ideas?
#1
Hello,
Pulled out the quad this spring and having the issues listed in the title, hard to start, runs rough, and will not idle. I believe it's a 2015 or 2016 for what it's worth.
I'm running out of ideas and would welcome input.
What I have done:
1. Emptied fuel and replaced with 91 ethanol-free.
2. Pulled carb.
a. Cleared high jet
b. Cleared low jet
c. Cleaned float needle and cleared the port.
d. Checked float. It floats.
e. Cleaned slide needle.
3. Checked the Air/Fuel screw = 2 turns out.
4. Checked Valves...I=.004", E=.003"
5. Replaced Spark Plug with NGK C7HSA . Is this correct?
6. Replaced coil.
7. Removed the Air Filter.
8. Tested CDI
a. AC Ignition Power to Ground ohms = 353 ohms
b. Timing Trigger to Ground ohms = 130 ohms
c. AC Ignition to Ground voletage = 51v
d. Timing Trigger to Ground voltage = .8v
e. Ignition Coil to Ground ohms = .4 ohms
f. Ignition Coil to Ground voltage = .121v
9. I pulled the plug and it was coated in oil. I guess that calls for a compression test in the morning.
I'm open to any other ideas.

Hi, I know you have completely gone through the carb but honestly they are so cheap I would just order a new one off of Amazon and put it on there and see if it helps. Not sure how you cleaned the carb but a lot of the time the jets are so weak that pushing anything through the holes just messes up their sizes.
