Hey everyone thanks in advance so right now I am trying to ride my 2000 jet moto I just got it back running

so right now my problem is when I pull the clutch in my transmission engages and when I release it the clutch engages so pretty much it’s backwards and no idea how to go about fixing it any help is greatly appreciated thanks everyone
