It lives! I got my first project quad to run earlier this evening. As far as I can tell, its an early 2000's Linhai 260 or Manco Talon (all the decals are gone). It was abandoned after some carb issues about 10 years ago. It sat in a shed for a while, but the owner wanted more shed space so, he drug it outside and left it under a tree 3 or 4 years ago. So far, All ive done is clean the carb, flush the cooling system, and change the engine oil, and it fired up - ran like a sewing machine, too. I was honestly surprised at how well it ran. It's going to need a lot more work before it can be considered a useable machine, though. Sitting outside was probably the worst thing that happened to it. The to do list is as follows (mostly for my own reference):

1. Leaky fuel tank fittings. I might need to cut the plastic fittings off of the bottom of the tank and replace them with bulkhead tank fittings. If anyone knows where to get the best ones for this application, please share!
2. Both front and rear brakes need flushed out and bled. I'm guessing the master cylinders just need replaced. Hopefully the calipers aren't seized up.
3. Gear box and rear diff oil need changed. I'm sure there's plenty of condensation in both places.
4. Tires hold air, but are badly dry-rotted. I wouldn't trust them past 5mph at this point.
5. I should at least pop the clutch cover and look at the belt if I'm going through all this trouble.

Ill try to post some pics for anyone interested. Not sure how its gonna go, but I'm hoping to get this much done before deer season kicks off this year. It'll be fun to send a pic of it hauling a deer out of the woods to the previous owner. Stay tuned!
