Busted my quad up some today, i need the rear swingarm (or at least the bearing carrier) and the stator cover... That will for a '87 250x. Cant spend more then $50 bucks, can anyone help me out? Used is great, as long as they work...

 

Also, even if you dont have/know of parts for me, i'd like to know if a 300ex swing arm will work? And if so up to what year? Also, how does the bearing carrier work with the 300ex swingarm?

 

I am almost possitive the 300EX will work. In fact, almost every part from a 300EX will fit the 87 250X. But to be sure, go to DGY and look up both and compare the part numbers.

 

Ok. I looked the parts up on DGY and the swingarm bearing carrier and the bearings are identical on all years. If by stator cover you mean the left side crancase cover, then they are different. Probably because the 300EX has an electric start motor in there. But, if you cracked the case cover, no problem, JB weld will work.

The case cover had been cracked and JB welded, when my chain popped off it smacked into the case and busted it back up, the oil leaked out so fast i hardly made it to the top of the hill so my buddy could tow me back to the trucks... I'd like to not have to deal with that again...

87-92 250x and 93-08 300 ex are the same carrier ( i only have new one sorry )

All i sell is durablue and there 295.00 complete with bearings but i think i located one but its still about half of that ill let you know.

 

Thanks for the help! I found some used ones for about $50 +/- and a few new on ebay for $80ish. Only thing i'm having trouble finding is the stator cover, any help?
