They're pretty few and far between around here but this week we tracked down a slightly used 2015 Argo amphibious Frontier 6x6 4-seater in WV:

I know some people love em,they can turn on a dime and we even sold a few in the early days at our shop,but lawdy all those chains, sprockets,bearing carriers that had to be greased.

 

They're cool but unless you can get an older one really cheap, I wouldn't really want one. They're so slow, its like driving a tractor. They can go almost anywhere as long as you don't want to get there very fast. I didn't realize they even still made them in 2015, I have only seen older ones for sale on craigslist.

I think they are more reliable now , better motors and more hydraulics taking over the mechanical parts.
