Default Hatfield-McCoy Trailfest - Oct 10-13

Who is going to this? Can anyone give me more information. I saw a brochure, but now I don't remember where, I do remember the dates but that's about it. I think there were some poker runs, mud pits and other events. Anyone got the down low?

Registered riders will have access to all five (5) separate trail systems encompassing over 500 miles of trails. Each of the four systems have a trailhead facility with parking and bathroom facilities.

The Browning Fork Trail System is the closest to HQ Village and will be the 2 primary trails for this event. From HQ Village, you will have direct trail access to the Browning Fork trail. The access is located in the town of Gilbert, which has adopted rules and regulations enabling trail riders to ride within the town limits.

Buffalo Mountain, Bear Wallow, Little Coal River and Pinnacle Creek Trail Systems and trailheads are available for riding and are generally reached within 45-60 minutes drive time from HQ Village with a trailer vehicle.

All trails are well-marked, maintained and exciting to ride. Each system has trails that are rated from easy to hard. They are marked as: Green = Easiest; Blue = Intermediate; and Black = Most Difficult. Much of the natural terrain in southern West Virginia is mountainous and rocky........but varied enough to give beginners to experts a great place to ride!

Trail maps will be available in your registration package issued when you arrive and check in. You may also look at the trail maps by accessing www.trailsheaven.com.
