I will be leaving for Little Sahara on Friday the 10th....I cant wait to hit the sand...Who all from COAC is going to Sand Fest???? I can meet some of the members if you are going....Let me know if your going and were you are camping out at....I think we will settle for Sand Rat..Because you can make reservations in advance....

 

Hey Spudss, where's sand rat? My buddy and I will be heading there friday afternoon and will need a camping spot. Never been to sandfest before but heard it is packed. Will we be able to find a camping spot friday evening? We're talking one truck and a tent, or a tent in the back of a truck!

Well as of right now...it looks as though I will not be able to go to SE Oklahoma ANY weekend in September. As of right now...I am scheduled to work every weekend throughout Septemeber. So it looks like you all will have to make this one with out me.

Sand Rat Haven is by the North camp road.. take the highway to where you would turn to go to the north camp and Sand Rat entrance is about 20 feet before the road to the north camp...There # is (580)824-0849 I like to stay there on big weekend because you can make reservations in advance...Tell them you want around the Dog Bowl... That is a good out of the way spot... Plus at night when you are trying to sleep you are farther away from the noise when camping at sand rat...We should be getting there around 8-9pm hopefully earlier...

 

Is anyone going to ride today (Sunday)? I fixed my breaks the other day, and was thinking about riding sometime this weekend. Just wanted to see if anyone wanted to ride with me. c-ya

NOT today....BUT Monday we will be in Muenster,TEXAS about noon. You are welcome to join us. Red F150 Ford Pickup with two quad trailer. ONE loads form the side and one from the rear. Come on down. It is only about an hour and a half from Norman. Good riding area.

By the way Tyler....
Bring a ROPE!!! Jason is into scuba diving with a four wheeler. He may need help with his anchor, or new attachments. He is trying to improve the ATVs on the market by adding water features, like pontoons, running lighs, trout lines, diving platforms, and scuba attachments. He has a pretty good idea, but is still in the design arena. Any imput you have will greatly improve his success. He is dong his field test in the River. Your help is needed. Let us know what you think of his attempts so far. At the recent meeting Jason was voted "most likely to sink"
