I wish I could go on the 9th but I have to take the little guy to ride Thomas the train and have to work the 8th and the10th but oh well maybe I can make the next run down there. hope all yall have fun and drink a coolie for me!

hey you guys,
i'm not sure if i'll make it on the 9th or not. the whole family is goin down there on the 19th for deer season and we'll be there for at least a week. i'm still going to try to make it down there with you guys, but no promises.
i should know in a day or two.

Guys, I went and rode the river at Purcell this afternoon....Great sand, and as far as crossing the river? Not a problem...I actually could ride in the river pretty much as far as I wanted.
Not going to get much better riding than that around here....Drive until gas becomes a problem [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

It is 215 miles from norman. The quickest is to I-40 then east.

cool. I'll probably camp too. Guess I'll need to get a portable DVD player. I don't like not having anything electronic , or I might just bring the laptop [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Speaking of Laptops....
Does anyone have one of those programs that will get into your bios and "cycle" your Laptop battery to try and erase "memory" in your laptop battery???
I have an HP Pavillion and it seems as though it just will not hold a charge. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.
Bob....also anyone know a good place to buy cheap laptop batteries without giving up too much quality??
