Sooner State has play days you could see how like a MX track then. I'v never raced on an MX track either but I fell alot better flying over the jumps rather than trees that are only 4 feet apart! I'm glad to see there is a growing ATV club in Central Oklahoma, I tried to get one going a few years ago and I couldn't find enough people that were wanting to do the samething.

Hey Guys,

Our newest member is looking for a riding bud for Sunday. He sent me the following mail. I am all booked with other "projects" but if anyone wants to ride Sunday and find out about a place to ride that is actually in OKC drop Kevin a line. Here is the mail he sent me:

I wanted to mention/ask about this Sunday. It is supposed to be nice weather and I wanted to ride. I live close to the River/ Lake Overhaulser and can access the river from my House. The ride is from the Lake to Meridian, about 20 miles round trip with a little mud, a little sand, water and areas to climb. If you know anyone else that wants to ride for about 3 hours this Sunday let me know!

Here is Kevin's contact info from the directory:

Kevin
Oklahoma City, OK
Kawasaki Prairie 650
kevinwaltman@hotmail.com

So if any of you guys will be able to help him out drop him some mail

Yes I received that mail. It's not that there has ever been a question of wanting to expand. Its the money. I am not willing (at this point) to pay a hosting service and register a domain as of yet. IF I know that the club is going to "make a go of it" and be around for some time to come then I would consider dropping a dime or two to siguning up with some sort of hosting service.

Right now I get at the VERY MOST 5-6 pieces of Mail per week from club members. Now I realize that may change in the furture as temps get warmer and people ride more, thier thoguhts will turn to riding activites and then I may get more mail. I have prompted people to send me riding pics to post on the page, none have arrived as yet so right now it seems as thoguh our page has not outgrown its limited capabilities on AOL. I am going to try to add a counter though sometime soon so I can track our hits.

When I run out of space at AOL then I might consider making the move to a new locale....but right now I am just going to "hold what I have" until I see how everything is going to turn out and how long we are going to be around. I hope we thrive and grow and need more space, but right now the AOL space is ample.

You can actually host a chat room on msn for FREE. It would give everyone a single place to log in and "chat" once you set the chat room up it is yours always. Just a thought!

Havin Fun...

Thanks for the info. I will look into that. Do we all have to have MSN Messenger?

Spudss..you have some MSN applications don't you? Check into that and see if we have to have MSN Messenger. We can always have a presecribed Chatroom that is no biggie but I am going to holdoff on acquiring a proprietary server just now.

Yeah I went and checked that out and saw that...oh well it was a good thought anyway. WE can all get together and communicate in ATV connection chat if we really need to.
