Mike, thanks for the links....I was really looking more along the lines of a tripod mount witheh 1/4 inch screw that will allow me to mount my existing camera to teh helmet. I dont want have to buy a whole new camera. Plus my cam corder doesnt have the AV IN. so I would have to get a new recording devise. Looks like I am going to be stuck with hot glue and disecting one of my old tripods.

Hmmm....I would be more apt to try and mount it on the quad before I punched any holes in my helmet (I don't think any glue would hold it very well)...Maybe on the bars or something, that way it would pan when you turned.

I could help you fab up a bracket if you want....Not sure about mounting a tripod on your head though. Might cause others around you to crash from looking at it.

Well I thoguht about mounting it to my front rack...but it would beat the camera to death with the shock and vibration. If I mounted to my helmet, my fat @$$ would obsorb all of the shock. The weight of the camera itself is not enough to give me whiplash if I stopped really quick. So I am thinking I might make somethng really strange....or I may just bite the bullet and order the helmet cam...Still undecided.

You guys know how hard it is to keep up with 21 pages on this thread. I am just clicking away trying to read the last couple of pages and get caught up. Need to start a new thread or something.

I wish it would warm up, I am ready to ride or do something.

Go to customize and set it to display new posts first that way you don't have to go through all the pages.

I agree. It was great getting to meet everyone Saturday night. It's always good to put faces with the names.

Plus, I wanted to make sure my account hadn't been cancelled.

See ya soon,

Keith
