Raptor 660R... help!?

Default Raptor 660R... help!?

i got my new 660R about a week ago and i got stuck in sum mud ( hell id call it quick sand if it wasnt black ) and im tryin to rock it by goin from first to reverse ya know? an ever sence then i can go in reverse, its like i burned the gear!? wtf? its only like 2 hours old. could there just be somethin loose or simple to check out? also could this affect all the other gears? an the general performance of the machine?

if u have "crap" floating around from the broken gear, yes.

Change your oil and check for metal shavings. If there are any, than yes you could have fried reverse or first gear. While your down there, check the cable that engages the reverse gear. Follow the cable from the switch and you'll find it connects the a linkage system on the transmission just forward and below the front sprocket(right near the oil drain plug). It's possible all the slamming caused the cable hook to come out, or snap, you never know. I would however, suggest not doing that again in the future. No warranty? If something is majorly wrong, take it back.
