Some folks say they're fine with just the letters buffed off, some say they have other defects, including HL employees in regards to the radial outlaws. They have these tires for $45 a piece, which is pretty darn cheap. Some have said they have holes drilled and patched. Anyone have experience with them?

 

yes, stay away from them, its worth the extra money for good tires, i have heard to some coming apart on the trail, that would suck.

As for nebraska tires-- I have 7 other friends who I ride with and they all have purchased their tires from Nebraska Tires and all have had good luck with them so far. The blemishs are cosmetic and have nothing to do with the construction of the tire.Cannot imagine a 6 ply tire " just coming apart on the trail"!They sell thousands of these tires each year.The only one who had problems was a guy who ripped the sidewall out.This was not the tires fault. We looked these tires over good when they were delivered and besides that the name (TITAN 589) was buffed off there were no other marks we could find. At the price they got them for you could buy 2 sets and still save some bucks. As for me when my Rawhides wear out I will too be sending for a set from them.

 

pete, this is a specific HL radial outlaw blem issue. My buddy just got his and there was a big slice, like as if with a razor blade, about 10 inches across the sidewall. Needs to be replaced. Other than that, the tires look ok, but he has a horrible wobble over 30mph. They are probably out of round. Highlifter employees have stated that these tires were defective and supposed to be scrapped.

 

I got a pair of Fast Trekkers for my son's 300ex, he's been running the k-rap out of them,with no problems. At first, I was skeptical about the buffed off brand names, thought it was odd, but it doesn't affect the performance of the tire at all, and at 25 bucks a tire, I can't complain. I've done high speed runs down the road,no tire wobble,no handling problems. I even called Nebraska tire about the buffed off names, he apologized for not having that info in the ad they put in Dirt Wheels, that info is on their web site, and even offered to refund my money if the tires didn't totally please me. If they sell that cheap, and totally back up their product, then I have no problem with that !!!

 

I bought a set of Titan 589's from Nebraska Tire 2 weeks ago. I finally was able to mount my tires today. It took me awhile to get my wheels from Highlifter "2 weeks". Anyway, the tires are FLAWLESS. They ride GREAT, this is the best tire deal "hands down"! So, I'd say in my opinion if you need tires look up NEBRASKA TIRE and order them up! $200.00 delivered to your door!

 

PROBLEMS x2 ORDERED A SET OF OUTLAWS RADIAL FROM NEBRASKA TIRE, THEY SHIPPED EM AND 1ST TIRE I LOOKED AT HAD A GASH THAT I COULD STICK 3 FINGER THREW, AFTER INSPECTING OTHER THREE FOUND 2 TIRES WITH BIG HOLES IN THE SIDE WALL AND IN THE TOPS OF TIRES WITH NO PATCHES, SO 3 TIRES BAD 1 GOOD. CALLED NEB. TIRE BACK AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD SHIP 3 TIRES TO ME AND TO KEEP THE OTHERS. RECIEVED TIRES AGAIN, AND AGAIN, I FOUND BIG DRILLED HOLES IN 2 TIRES BUT THEY WERE PATCHED THE 3RD ONE THE BELTS WERE BROKEN INSIDE AND WERE RIPPLED THROUGH OUT THE INSIDE OF TIRE CALLED NEB. TIRE BACK AND ASKED FOR REFUND AFTER MY TIRE MOUNTER LOOKED AT THEM AND SAID THEY WERE JUNK. STEVE FROM NEB. TIRE SAID MY TIRE MOUNTER DIDNT KNOW WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT AND GOT COCKY WITH ME AND SAID KEEP THE TIRES AND WOULD REFUND TOTAL AMOUNT. NOW I HAVE 8 TIRES IN MY GARAGE WITH 2 GOOD ONES, 1 FRONT 1 BACK. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE!!! THEY SELL JUNK AND WONT TAKE TIRES BACK DIPOSAL WILL COST YOU UNLESS YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO CAN USE EM FOR FLOWER BEDS CAUSE THATS ALL THEY ARE GOOD FOR

 

You must have some bad luck. I have bought 4 differ3ent sets with no problems. I have 8 of my friends that bought from Nebraska Tire also with no complaints. I'm very sorry about your luck but as far as I'm conserned they are great and I'm gonna keep buying from them.

 

i tested the new radial outlaws for highlifter before they got booted all together. all i can say is im glad i got this set of 27's to test they are bad to the bone. lighter and smooth as glass. its a shame they pulled the plug. i learned neb tire does not have permission to sell these tires. the reason they have holes drilled in them is because highlifter drilled them before returning them to titan for credit and titan turns around and sells them as scrap rubber. they have been threatened with a law suite but most important is those rejet tires ARE NOT SAFE. trust me i know. i have done alot of testing for them and learned alot. they are not safe.

 

NEBRASKA TIRES RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i orderd a set of titan 589's and had a problem with one tire having a bad bead, they sent me a new one at no cost to me and got it very fast. very great to deal with, can't wait to by from agin!!!!!!!!!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]sounds like outlaws are junk any way!!
