Default Paddle Device

On a recent edition of ATV World on the Outdoor Channel, I saw a Paddle device installed on the rear axle of a 4 wheeler. It was installed on either side of the rear chunk. I have seen the rubber kind that fits on the outside of the tires, but this was on the axle.

Anyone here have any info on a product like this?

CigarDude,
what you saw is called an axle paddle, the are custon made and welded on to the axle, go to www.highlifter.com and do a search for axle paddles. you will find many topics on it, they are on some of the hardcore mudders.

hope this helps

to me those don't seem like they would work very well in the mud. if only the very bottom of ur axle hits the mude, it might help. but if u bury ur axle, then it will be pulling ur axle forward, backwards, up, and down all at the same time.
